Die nES630 Ex ist die explosionsgeschützte Version der nES630. Sie trägt die Kennzeichnung Ex II (i) 2 G b IIB+H2 T3 / (o) 3 GD IIC T3 (T150 °C) (10 °C < Ta < 40 °C) X: innen (prozessgasberührt) Kategorie 2 für die Explosionsgruppe IIB einschließlich Wasserstoff, außen Kategorie 3 für Gase und Stäube. Die Pumpe fördert 640 m³/h bei 50 Hz, erreicht 0,08 mbar without gas ballast und verträgt with two gas ballast valves bis 60 mbar Wasserdampf.
