The Atlas Copco DBS 780 is a single-stage side channel blower with a single impeller: oil-free, non-contact and with an IE3 motor, for vacuum and pressure operation. Atlas Copco DBS 780 – single-stage side channel blower with single impeller
Depending on the model, the DBS 780 delivers up to 782 m³/h at 50 Hz and up to 944 m³/h at 60 Hz. According to the characteristic curve table, it reaches down to −300 mbar in vacuum operation and up to +300 mbar in compressor operation. The motor power is 5.5–13 kW (IE3). Dimensions up to 627 × 516 × 573 mm (L × W × H), weight 84–97 kg, inlet and outlet G 4" (DN 100).Oil-free side channel principle
Atlas Copco recommends the DBS series for applications that require volume flows up to about 1000 m³/h and a low vacuum down to −350 mbar. The impeller accelerates the air in the side channels without contact; there is no oil, no oil filter and no exhaust filter, and the exhaust air stays clean.Applications of the range
