Elmo Rietschle C-VLR series

The Elmo Rietschle C-VLR ZEPHYRS series comprises powerful, dry and contact-free vacuum pumps with pumping speeds of 60 to 1,000 m³/h and a maximum continuous vacuum of down to 50 mbar(abs.). The efficient, air-cooled design allows reliable operation without an additional cooling medium.

The pumps offer high efficiency, low noise levels and service costs, long operating times and a compact design. Frequency inverters and ATEX-compliant versions are available as options.

The LUV version extends the series with smaller models of 60, 100 and 150 m³/h for applications such as packaging, degassing and drying. An optional ProCoat dry-film coating provides additional corrosion protection and is particularly suitable for humid processes.

Operating principle

The Elmo Rietschle C-VLR series works on the principle of dry-running claw vacuum technology. Two counter-rotating claws move without contact inside the pump housing and create continuously changing working chambers. The rotary movement of the claws compresses the air drawn in, which is then discharged through the outlet.

As the C-VLR series runs dry and oil-free, the pumped medium does not come into contact with oil or lubricants in the compression chamber. The technology therefore allows clean and contamination-free vacuum generation and is particularly suitable for demanding industrial processes.

The contact-free claw principle ensures low wear and reduces maintenance requirements. The robust construction allows reliable continuous operation and a long service life combined with efficient vacuum generation.
