Becker VARIAIR KVX 3.100/0-400 – variable-speed oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump

The VARIAIR KVX 3.100/0-400 combines the dry-running KVX 3.100 with a VARIAIR frequency converter. It delivers up to 112 m³/h (at 60 Hz), reaches a vacuum of 100 mbar absolute and works in a frequency range of 30 to 60 Hz. The converter is supplied with 400–480 V ±10 % at 50 or 60 Hz (max. 16 A). Sound pressure level 77 dB(A) (at −600 mbar, 40 Hz), weight with motor and converter 109.5 kg, dimensions 829 × 470 × 400 mm (L × W × H), suction connection G 1 1/2".

VARIAIR converter technology

The frequency converter matches the pump's output to the process: instead of running at a fixed speed, the pump delivers exactly the pumping speed that is needed. This optimises the energy demand and keeps the vacuum constant even when demand fluctuates.

Dry-running and robust

Like all KVX pumps, the VARIAIR KVX 3.100/0-400 works without oil in the pumping chamber; there are no oil changes. The robust design is intended for long running times, and noise-reducing measures ensure quiet operation. The vanes of the X series achieve service lives of up to 20,000 operating hours or 3 years.
