The Leybold DURADRY DD 160 is a dry-compressing, water-cooled screw vacuum pump with 160 m³/h peak pumping speed and an ultimate pressure of < 1 × 10⁻² mbar. As the smallest DURADRY, it brings PFPE lubrication, hermetic design and the Plug-&-Go concept into a compact frame. Leybold DURADRY DD 160 – the compact entry into the new generation of screw pumps
The DURADRY DD 160 achieves a peak pumping speed of 160 m³/h and an ultimate pressure of < 1 × 10⁻² mbar. The pump motor is rated at 7.5 kW; according to Leybold the pump draws 4.7 kW at full load and 3.8 kW at ultimate pressure. At 1265 × 520 × 566 mm and 305 kg, it shares its frame with the DD 250. The inlet is DN 63 ISO-K, the exhaust DN 40 ISO-KF.Built for harsh processes
Leybold describes the DURADRY as PFPE-ready: with LEYBONOL LVO 410 it tolerates high temperatures, high oxygen content and mildly corrosive conditions. The fully hermetic system with dynamic seal prevents oil leaks, a stainless steel cooling system prevents corrosion, and the gas sealing protects the seal system, bearings and lubricant from contamination.Typical applications
