Becker U 4.70 – outdated model

Becker no longer lists the U 4.70 in its current range: its documents are in the archive of the Becker download centre, and the Becker product range catalogue 01/2026 lists only the U 4.400 and the U 4.630 in the U 4 series. Becker names no successor. In the Ehrler & Beck range, the Becker U 5.65 (XL K) is the nearest in size, with 65 m³/h at 50 Hz and an ultimate pressure of 0.5 mbar.

Technical data

According to the Becker data sheet of 02.07.2014, the U 4.70 delivers 63 m³/h at 50 Hz and 74 m³/h at 60 Hz (tolerance ±5 %); the ultimate pressure is 3 mbar (SA/K) or 0.5 mbar (F/K) absolute. The three-phase motor has a power of 2.4 kW at 50 Hz and 3.0 kW at 60 Hz (efficiency class IE2). Sound pressure level 67 / 68.5 dB(A) at 50 / 60 Hz. The pump weighs 34 kg without motor; the motor weighs 26 or 29 kg. Overall length with motor 715 or 720 mm, width 374 mm, height 280 mm. Suction connection R 1 1/4", exhaust connection R 1 1/4"; oil filling 2 l (Becker Lube M 100, S 100 or SL 100). A non-return valve and a PT100 temperature sensor are built in.

Becker listed the versions U 4.70 GB with gas ballast valve, U 4.70-25 with oil-water cooler, U 4.70-51 with oil bath heater, level sensor and thermostat, and U 4.70 (F 35) with inlet filter F 35.
