Edwards SHR22500 – two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump

The SHR22500 delivers 4500 m³/h at 50 Hz and 4896 m³/h at 60 Hz. Liquid ring pumps compress the gas in a rotating liquid ring; the operating liquid carries away the heat of compression, and vapours and entrained liquid are tolerated.

Features

  • Two-stage design with valve plates
  • Bareshaft version for drive via coupling or belt
  • Materials: grey cast iron or grey cast iron with stainless steel impellers
  • Mechanical seals flushed via internal channels – only operating liquid required

Typical applications

Edwards uses the SHR and EHR pumps, among other things, in systems for condenser air extraction in power stations.
