Edwards EOS4600i – oil-injected screw vacuum pump with frequency converter

The EOS4600i has a nominal displacement of 4478 m³/h and reaches an ultimate pressure of 0.3 mbar. The EOS3800-5400i series controls the pump temperature electronically via a quarter-turn mixing valve; the air-cooled versions also have a variable-speed radial fan.

Features

• Housing with separate warm and cool zones: heat sources such as the oil separator and screw element are separated from the electronics
• Quarter-turn mixing valve with temperature sensor at the pump inlet for precise temperature control
• Variable-speed radial fan on the air-cooled versions
• Air-cooled or water-cooled, each also with an option for large quantities of water vapour

Typical applications

Edwards names holding and lifting (pick-and-place, paper transport, packaging), forming (plastics, thermoforming, glass bottles, laminating), food (vacuum packaging, freeze drying, canning), general industry (heat treatment, altitude simulation, coating, pneumatic conveying) and applications with a lot of moisture such as food cooling, degassing of tiles and bricks and pipeline drying.
