The Atlas Copco AWC 220 is a single-stage liquid ring vacuum pump with a pumping speed of 230 m³/h at 50 Hz (265 m³/h at 60 Hz) and an ultimate pressure of 33 mbar. It is built for humid, wet and dirty processes. Ehrler & Beck supplies it with motor or for lantern mounting, in three material versions.

Atlas Copco AWC 220 – liquid ring pump for harsh, humid processes
The AWC 220 delivers 230 m³/h at 50 Hz and 265 m³/h at 60 Hz (saturated air) and reaches 33 mbar(a). The flat port plate with variable port opening keeps the delivery capacity stable over the whole rough vacuum range and saves operating water. Inlet and outlet DN 50, operating water connection Rp 3/4, dimensions 741 × 314 × 371 mm (L × W × H), weight 129 kg.Why liquid ring?
In the pump an eccentrically mounted impeller rotates a ring of water, which seals the chambers and compresses the gas. In the process, the water absorbs the heat of compression – vapour, condensate, entrained liquid and particles hardly disturb operation.Applications of the range

Ehrler & Beck supplies the AWC 220 with a dual-frequency motor for 50 and 60 Hz (versions for Europe/China and for Korea/Japan), with a 50 Hz motor 380 V and without motor with lantern flange for a 50 or 60 Hz motor – in each case in grey cast iron with stainless steel impeller, entirely in stainless steel SS 304 or in SS 316L.Features of the AWC range
