Vacuum Pump Technologies

Regardless of their design, all vacuum pumps work on the same basic principle: a vacuum pump removes air molecules and other gases from a vacuum chamber, conveys them out of the system and thereby creates a partial vacuum. Vacuum pumps are used in numerous industrial and scientific applications. Depending on the requirements, they can be combined with vacuum chambers and the appropriate operating methods to form a wide variety of vacuum systems. For special applications, several vacuum pumps can also be used within one system. Modern vacuum pumps can be adapted precisely to the individual requirements of each customer and field of use. Ehrler & Beck offers various vacuum pump technologies for the most diverse applications and requirements:

ROTARY VANE VACUUM PUMPS, OIL-LUBRICATED

Rotary vane technology allows a technically simple and robust design of the vacuum pumps. Continuous oil lubrication ensures a constantly high vacuum level even in continuous operation. The pumping chamber is divided into individual cells by durable rotary vanes.

ROTARY VANE VACUUM PUMPS, OIL-FREE

Oil-free rotary vane technology is ideal for industrial applications that require fast and reliable vacuum generation. The simple design results in robust and durable vacuum pumps with little maintenance and low operating costs.

SIDE CHANNEL VACUUM PUMPS

Side channel vacuum pumps have proven their high reliability for decades and ensure trouble-free operation with minimal downtime. Compared with many other vacuum pumps, they also stand out for their particularly low noise level. A wide range of accessories allows flexible adaptation to a great variety of applications.

CLAW VACUUM PUMPS

Claw vacuum pumps were developed to provide a constant vacuum, high pumping speeds and high efficiency for a wide variety of applications. Working without contact, claw vacuum pumps require particularly little maintenance, which keeps operating costs to a minimum.

LIQUID RING VACUUM PUMPS

Integrated rotors create the seal of the compression chamber through the rotation of a liquid ring. The inherently low-friction design has only one moving part – the rotor. The use of high-quality materials in manufacturing ensures maximum reliability and constant operating characteristics.

RADIAL VACUUM PUMPS

Radial vacuum pumps, also known as centrifugal pumps, are robust pumps and ideal for applications that require high volume flows at low pressure differences. They run with low vibration and stand out for their particularly low noise level.

SCREW VACUUM PUMPS

Thanks to the contact-free operating principle of the screw rotors, no lubrication is required. The main advantages include contamination-free processes and no risk of oil or lubricant carry-over. The simple yet robust operating principle ensures reliable operation.Screw vacuum pumps are suitable for a wide range of applications that require a clean, oil-free vacuum. The use of high-quality materials ensures high reliability and a long service life.

ROOTS VACUUM PUMPS

Roots vacuum pumps, also known as rotary lobe vacuum boosters, can be used in numerous applications that require rough or medium vacuum. They serve to increase the performance of the vacuum system in combination with backing pumps such as rotary vane or screw vacuum pumps. Particularly at lower pressures, they provide a significantly higher pumping speed and thus improve the overall performance of the vacuum system.
