Becker U 5.201 O2-PACK – vacuum pump for oxygen-enriched modified atmosphere packaging

The U 5.201 O2-PACK is the version of the U 5.201 for MAP applications (modified atmosphere packaging) with an oxygen content of more than 20.9 %. It delivers 200 m³/h at 50 Hz and 240 m³/h at 60 Hz; for continuous operation Becker gives a working range of < 0.5–100 mbar. Installed motor power 4.0 / 4.8 kW, sound pressure level 72 / 74 dB(A), weight approx. 143 kg with motor. Width × height 510 × 398.5 mm, pump length without motor 601 mm (overall length depending on the motor), suction and exhaust connection G 2", oil quantity 5 l.

O2-PACK version

Becker highlights three points: compatibility with oxygen-enriched gases, the enlarged oil tank and smooth surfaces for fast, simple and hygienic cleaning. According to Becker, the U series is suitable for vacuum chamber machines, flow-pack machines and tray sealers.
