Busch R5 RA 0160 D – outdated model

The R5 RA 0160 D is no longer part of the current Busch range; Busch names no successor in its current documents. In our range, the Busch R5 RA 0165 D has the same nominal pumping speed of 160 m³/h (50 Hz). Busch described the R5 RA 0160–0302 D range as robustly built, with heavy-duty carbon vanes and a high pumping speed at low pressures; it was designed for fast cycle times, for example in vacuum packaging, and for continuous operation at ultimate pressure. According to the Busch data sheet, the ultimate pressure is 0.1 mbar with the gas ballast valve closed and 0.5 mbar with it open. The rated motor power is 4.0 kW (50 Hz) or 6.6 kW (60 Hz) at 1500 or 1800 min⁻¹; the power consumption is 3.7 / 4.7 kW at 100 mbar and 2.6 / 3.1 kW at ultimate pressure. The sound pressure level (ISO 2151) is 70 / 72 dB(A), the oil capacity 5 l and the weight approx. 140 kg. The pump measures 920 × 536 × 410 mm (L × W × H); gas inlet and gas outlet are G 2". Busch did not publish order numbers for the pump; the type designation is what counts.
