Leybold LEYVAC LV 250 – outdated model

The LEYVAC LV 250 is no longer part of the current Leybold range. In the LEYVAC series Leybold today lists the sizes LV 80 and LV 140 and the LEYVAC B line; Leybold does not name a direct successor to the LV 250 in its current documents. In the Ehrler & Beck range, the dry-compressing screw vacuum pumps DRYVAC DV 200 and DRYVAC DV 300 come closest to the LV 250 in pumping speed. The nominal pumping speed without gas ballast is 250 m³/h at 50 Hz and 300 m³/h at 60 Hz. With shaft seal and rotor purge the pump reaches an ultimate pressure of 1 × 10⁻² mbar; it has a nominal power of 8 kW and weighs about 330 kg, or about 350 kg in the C and CC versions with housing. Order numbers of the LEYVAC LV 250

Leybold listed the LEYVAC LV 250 under four order numbers: 115250V15 (LV 250 with LEYBONOL LVO 410, base plate, castors, temperature switch, shaft seal purge and rotor purge), 115250V30 (LV 250 C, additionally with housing), 115250V35 (LV 250 CC, additionally with housing and temperature monitoring) and 115250V40 (with LEYBONOL LVO 210). The sources differ on the 115250V40: the 2016 brochure lists it with housing, the 2018 catalogue without that addition.
