Technology and features
The series at a glance
The F-RB 1175 model covers a volume flow of 500 to 2500 m³/h; Elmo Rietschle states gauge pressures up to 180 mbar and a noise level below 79 dB(A).
High-speed radial blowers at a glance
A radial blower accelerates the air outwards with a fast-rotating impeller and converts the velocity into pressure in the housing. In the F-RB a permanent-magnet synchronous motor drives the aluminium impeller at up to 22,000 min⁻¹; a frequency converter controls the speed and with it volume flow and pressure. Compression is oil-free.
