The series at a glance
The robust die-cast aluminium construction, permanently lubricated bearings and air-cooled motors ensure a long service life and high availability. Integrated silencers also allow particularly quiet operation.
The SAMOS series offers high differential pressures, good pumping speed, energy-efficient operation and minimal maintenance. The blowers can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
With the SAMOS series, Busch offers a proven range of oil-free side channel vacuum pumps and compressors that was developed for clean operation, high reliability and low maintenance. The contact-free side channel principle allows low-wear conveying without oil or lubricants in the conveyed medium. Thanks to the various sizes and versions, the SAMOS series offers a flexible solution for numerous vacuum and overpressure applications in industry, materials handling and pneumatic conveying.
Oil-free and clean operation
The Busch SAMOS series works completely oil-free and without contact. This allows clean air conveying without oil contamination, and the units are particularly suitable for sensitive industrial applications.

Operating principle
The Busch SAMOS series works on the proven principle of side channel vacuum technology. An impeller running without contact rotates inside the housing and conveys the air drawn in through the side channel. The special geometry of the impeller accelerates and compresses the air several times, which generates vacuum or overpressure continuously.
The oil-free and contact-free design allows clean operation without oil or lubricants in the conveyed medium. This makes the SAMOS series particularly suitable for applications that require contamination-free and reliable air conveying.
Depending on the version, the units are of single-stage or multi-stage design and can be used for both vacuum and overpressure. The robust construction and the low-wear operating principle allow low-maintenance and reliable continuous operation in numerous industrial applications.
