Becker VARIAIR KDT 3.140/0-400 – variable-speed oil-free rotary vane compressor

The VARIAIR KDT 3.140/0-400 combines the dry-running KDT 3.140 with a VARIAIR frequency converter (VAU7.5/3, 7.5 kW). It delivers up to 150 m³/h, works up to +1.5 bar pressure and in a frequency range of 30 to 60 Hz. The converter is supplied with 400–480 V ±10 % at 50 or 60 Hz (max. 20 A). Sound pressure level 78 (at +1.0 bar, 40 Hz) dB(A), weight with motor and converter 149 kg, dimensions 927 × 472 × 455 mm (L × W × H), pressure connection G 1 1/2".

VARIAIR converter technology

The frequency converter matches the output to the demand: the compressor delivers exactly the air volume that is needed and keeps the pressure constant even when consumption fluctuates. This optimises the energy demand.
