F-RER / F-REL 400 50 – outdated model

The radial blower F-RER / F-REL 400 50 is no longer part of the current Elmo Rietschle range; the manufacturer names no successor in its current documents. RER denotes the clockwise-rotating version, REL the counter-clockwise-rotating version; the blowers were ordered by the type designation RER/REL 400 50, and the manufacturer did not publish order numbers for them. At 50 Hz, the single-stage radial blower for vacuum operation reaches a volume flow of up to 49.0 m³/min (2940 m³/h) and a maximum static pressure difference of 27.5 mbar, at 60 Hz up to 50.7 m³/min (3042 m³/h) and a maximum of 37.3 mbar. At an ambient pressure of 1 bar this corresponds to an ultimate pressure of 972.5 mbar absolute at 50 Hz. The speed is 2850 min⁻¹ at 50 Hz and 3450 min⁻¹ at 60 Hz. Radial blowers must only be operated throttled so that the motor is not overloaded. Volume flows and pressure differences are taken from the Rietschle data sheet D 750–753 (edition 1999); motors, weights and sound pressure levels from the Elmo Rietschle F-Series catalogue (2009).
