Atlas Copco DWS 800 C – dry screw pump for the process industry
The DWS 800 C delivers 800 m³/h and reaches an ultimate pressure of 0.05 mbar(a); the outlet pressure may be up to 1.2 bar(a). Motor 18.5 kW at 2950 rpm, sound pressure level at most 80 dB(A), dimensions 1197 × 573 × 534 mm (L × W × H), weight 566 kg, inlet DN 100.Built for liquid and particles
Variable pitch and an optimised rotor profile ensure high efficiency and short pump-down times, even when the process carries over liquid or particles. The wetted parts are Hastelloy C coated as standard; for particularly corrosive processes, further coatings and duplex stainless steel are available. For more pumping speed and a lower ultimate pressure the pump can be combined with a Roots pump.Applications of the range
Atlas Copco lists the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries – for example distillation, evaporation, solvent and exhaust gas recovery, reaction vacuum, sterilisation, adsorption and desorption, crystallisation, deodorisation, impregnation, pervaporation, polymerisation, vacuum drying, pneumatic conveying and the conveying of corrosive gases – as well as composites and rubber, freeze drying and CO₂ capture.Version
Atlas Copco configures the DWS C pumps to the customer's process requirements – there is therefore no fixed part number. Ehrler & Beck clarifies materials, sealing, cooling and accessories with you and requests the appropriate quotation.Features of the DWS C range
- Screws with variable pitch and optimised rotor profile: high efficiency and short pump-down times
- Tolerates liquid and particle carry-over from the process
- Wetted parts made of grey cast iron with Hastelloy C coating; other coatings and duplex stainless steel as an option
- Cooling jacket on the housing as standard, shaft cooling for a lower operating temperature
- Specially designed mechanical seal against oil leakage, PTFE lip seal as an option
- Precision-manufactured for low vibration and a low risk of seizure
- Clean-in-place and gas dilution module available for polymerisation and temperature-sensitive processes
