Technology and features
Operating principle
Multi-stage Roots vacuum pumps compress the gas through several Roots stages arranged in series directly against atmospheric pressure and need no backing pump to do so. The pump chamber is dry and contact-free; gears and bearings are separated from the gas chamber.

Features of the series
- Wide temperature range: according to Pfeiffer the widest temperature range on the market, from 50 °C to 270 °C
- Robust: longer service life in harsh applications thanks to improved powder management, higher corrosion resistance and optimised temperature profile
- Economical: low power consumption, patented purge gas injection system for lower N₂ and water demand
