Technology and features
Operating principle
Dry screw vacuum pumps convey the gas from the inlet to the outlet with two screw rotors that intermesh without contact. The pump chamber is oil-free; the pumps reach rough and medium vacuum in a single stage, are insensitive to water vapour and particles and are suitable for continuous operation.
The technology page shows the operating principle with an interactive drawing: Screw vacuum pumps.
