vacuum pump technologies

Regardless of their design, the basic principle of operation behind vacuum pumps is the same. A vacuum pump functions by removing the molecules of air and other gasses from the vacuum chamber, transferring it and leaving behind a partial vacuum. Vacuum pumps are used in many industrial and scientific processes and can be combined with chambers and operational procedures into a wide variety of vacuum systems. Sometimes more than one pump will be used. Modern vacuum pumps can be customized to fit each customers specific need for a certain application area. Ehrler & Beck offers the following technology types of vacuum pumps:

ROTARY VANE VACUUM PUMPS; OIL LUBRICATED

The rotary vane technology enables a technically simple structure of the vacuum pumps. The consistently high vacuum level in continuous operation is guaranteed through circulating oil lubrication. Chambers separated by long-life vanes.

ROTARY VANE VACUUM PUMPS, OIL FREE

Design of the oil free rotary vane vacuum pumps makes them ideal for industrial applications in which rapid and reliable vacuum services are required. Simplicity of design produces robust, long-lasting pumps with low maintenance and running costs.

SIDE CHANNEL VACUUM PUMPS

Side channel vacuum pumps have proven their reliability in service for many decades, performing flawlessly each day with virtually no down time. Noise levels have been lower than with most other vacuum pumps. Large range of accessories available.

CLAW VACUUM PUMPS

Developed to offer constant vacuum, height pumping speed and provide high efficiency levels for various application types. Claw vacuum pumps operate contact-free and require almost no maintenance. Operating costs have been reduced to a minimum.

LIQUID RING VACUUM PUMPS

Integrated rotors churn a rotating ring of liquid to form the compression-chamber seal. Inherently low friction design, with the rotor being the only moving part. Use of high-quality material in production ensure utmost reliability and constant operating characteristics.

RADIAL VACUUM PUMPS

Radial vacuum pumps (also referred to as Centrifugal pumps) are robust pumps ideal for applications that require a combination of big volume flows and small pressure differences. These pumps run vibration free at low noise levels.

SCREW VACUUM PUMPS

Due to the contact-free operating principle of the screw rotors, no lubrication is required. Main benefits include contamination-free processes and no risk of pollution. Operating principle is simple, yet robust. Suitable for various application areas where clean, oil-free vacuum is needed. These pumps are made of high quality materials.

ROOTS VACUUM PUMPS

Roots vacuum pumps, also know as Rotary lobe vacuum booster pumps, can be used in many applications that need coarse or fine vacuum. Their purpose is to enhance the performance in combination with backing pumps like rotary vane or screw vacuum pumps at lower pressure with higher suction capacities.
