EH Roots pumps series (EDWARDS)
Ehrler and Beck offers Edwards EH Mechanical booster pumps. Based on the proven Roots principle, mechanical EH boosters remain the pumps of choice for applications requiring high suction speeds for pressures in the 0.01 to 10 mbar range.
EH vacuum pumps must always be backed up by another pump that can pump against a high pressure differential to atmospheric pressure.

Pump down times reduced by up to 50 %
Edwards' patented hydrokinetic drive allows the Roots pump to operate at atmospheric pressure. The total evacuation time can be reduced by up to 50 %, since the Roots pump can provide direct support and saves valuable process time. The HK drive enables the speed to be automatically reduced at high pressures, thus protecting the pump from overheating.
Solid operation even under adverse conditions
EH proven shaft seal design protects the pump mechanism and gearbox from cross-contamination even under the most adverse conditions. Because EH Roots pumps are not damaged by a sudden increase in inlet pressure, you can avoid unplanned downtime and increase overall process efficiency.
Automatic overload protection
The variable speed of the pump protects the motor from overload and overheating and can thus extend the service life of the pump. Thanks to the integrated hydrokinetic drive, the pump can be operated with high differential pressures, which makes it extremely flexible and powerful.
