These compact positive displacement blowers belong to the group of dry-running displacement compressors. No lubrication is required in the conveying chamber itself, only the gear unit, which is separated from the conveying chamber, and the bearings are oil-lubricated. In the blower housing, two three-blade rotary pistons turn against each other evenly and without contact. Three-wing Roots cause a low-pulsation flow of the medium. The R-WVB and the R-WPB Roots blowers are individually designed for the respective application at the factory and are available in the following versions:
WPB (01) – Basic unit with free shaft end, without motor
WPB (30) – compact unit
WPB (60) – Compact unit with sound insulation hood
The non-contact 2-blade (R-WPB 25) or 3-blade (R-WPB 120 to 8.300) Roots blower is suitable for pressure operation up to a maximum of 2 bar (abs.). The 18 sizes have a volume flow of 20 to max. 8,000 m³/h. Low-noise and low-pulsation, high efficiency thanks to optimum fan speeds, stable design, easy to service.
