Alternatives to conventional oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps

Oil lubricated models of U series, R5 series, V series, SOGEVAC series, and the TRIVAC series can be replaced by the following types of classic oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps:

WITTE SERIES

Rotary vane vacuum pumps with integrated oil mist separator, oil filter and non-return valve on the suction side with suction strainer.

  • air cooling
  • High reliability
  • Lower running costs
  • water vapor tolerance

MAPRO BV Series - Oil recirculating

  • Cast iron pump housing (stator and head); carbon steel rotor; Leaves in slightly layered material
  • Aluminum alloy oil tank separator
  • Sealing between the static parts of the pump by O-rings; between the pump body and the tank separator through seals
  • Shaft seal by lip seal in Viton (FKM)
  • Aluminum alloy hub between pump body and electric motor
the flanged electric motor is bolted to the hub and the vacuum pump rotor is driven by an elastic coupling between the motor shaft and the pump rotor shaft.

ADVANTAGES

  • easy installation
  • easy and economical maintenance
  • low noise level
  • unchangeable and high volume efficiency
  • pulse-free intake air flow
  • no vibration
  • Suitability for use in many industrial applications
  • high water vapor tolerance if the pump is equipped with a ballast valve

APPLICATIONS

  • vacuum packaging industry
  • food processing
  • central vacuum systems
  • vacuum filtration
  • plastic forming
  • timber industry
  • Handling by suction cups
  • filling machines
  • packaging machines
  • printing machine industry
  • pharmaceutical industry

ACCESORIES

  • inline filter
  • vacuum gauges and vacuum switches
  • manual and automatic shut-off valves
  • vacuum control valves
  • hose connections

SCHMALZ EVE-OG series

Oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps with integrated oil separator, three-phase power supply, optionally available with additional filter and motor protection. Compact design with integrated fan and permanently lubricated bearings.
ADVANTAGES

  • multi-vane pump
  • Permanently lubricated bearings
  • Powerful fan
  • Wide range of models with different outputs

DVP L Series (LA- / LB- / LC-)

These vacuum pumps are used when the suction flow may contain moisture or when a better ultimate pressure is required. They can run continuously within specified pressure ranges or be connected to draining reservoirs of appropriate volume for the pump flow rate. Long-term use at atmospheric pressure is not recommended.
The WR version of the L series pump has a system that separates oil and water condensate and expels it when the pump is stopped.

DVP R and D Series (DVP DB- / DC- / DKW)

Oil bath vacuum pumps
R and D series high vacuum pumps are used when the absolute ultimate pressure is very low. These pumps can be continuously connected to closed vessels to be emptied and cannot run continuously for a long time at atmospheric pressure. The exhaust gases from these pumps are not filtered, special flue gas cleaners are available for this purpose.
