En varias ranuras del rotor (<span class=\"color-primary\">GRAMO<\/span>) son l\u00e1minas (<span class=\"color-primary\">C<\/span>) o discos de corte que se deslizan a lo largo de la superficie interior del cilindro. Esto sucede debido a la fuerza centr\u00edfuga creada por la rotaci\u00f3n del rotor. Una celda transportadora (<span class=\"color-primary\">H<\/span>), cuyo volumen cambia continuamente durante la rotaci\u00f3n. Cuando la persiana trasera cierra el extremo del puerto de entrada (<span class=\"color-primary\">B<\/span>) se ha alcanzado, la celda alcanza su volumen de aire m\u00e1ximo.
