Dabei erfolgt die Verdichtung trocken und verschlei\u00dffrei. Verdichter Raum und Getriebe sind durch spezielle Dichtungen voneinander getrennt. Die Klauenrotoren steuern die Zu- und Abf\u00fchrung des angesaugten Mediums durch \u00d6ffnen und Schlie\u00dfen des Ansaug- beziehungsweise Auslasskanals.
