Die Druck-Vakuumpumpen arbeiten vollkommen \u00f6lfrei, die einzelnen Arbeitskammern sind \u00fcber Schieber mit hoher Standzeit getrennt. Ansaugfilter und Regulierventil sind in den Druck-Vakuumpumpen integriert, weiteres Zubeh\u00f6r kann problemlos angebaut werden. Der ebenfalls integrierte Blasluftk\u00fchler garantiert eine sehr niedrige Blaslufttemperatur. Die kompakte Abdeckhaube erm\u00f6glicht eine niedrige Schallemission und eine geringe W\u00e4rmeabstrahlung. In mehreren Rotorschlitzen (<span class=\"color-primary\">G<\/span>) sind Lamellen \u00a0(<span class=\"color-primary\">C<\/span>) oder Trennscheiben angebracht, die an der Innenfl\u00e4che des Zylinders entlanggleiten. \u00a0Dies geschieht durch die bei der Drehung des Rotors entstandene Fliehkraft. So bildet sich zwischen je zwei Lamellen eine F\u00f6rderzelle (<span class=\"color-primary\">H<\/span>), deren Volumen sich w\u00e4hrend der Drehung kontinuierlich \u00e4ndert. Wenn die hintere Lamelle das Ende der Einlass\u00f6ffnung (<span class=\"color-primary\">B<\/span>) erreicht hat, erreicht die Zelle ihr maximales Luftvolumen. Im Moment sich die \u00a0Zeile weiter vom Saugkanal entfernt, nimmt das Volumen ab. Daher wird die Luft verdichtet und der Druck steigt. Dies setzt sich fort, bis der Druck in der Zelle den Druck im Druckraum (<span class=\"color-primary\">I<\/span>) \u00fcbersteigt und die Luft dann durch den Druckkanal (<span class=\"color-primary\">J<\/span>) herausstr\u00f6mt. In einigen Druckkanal-Modellen befinden sich Auslassventile (<span class=\"color-primary\">K<\/span>), die verhindern, dass der R\u00fcckstrom der Abluft in die Zelle str\u00f6mt.\u00a0Bei den Druck-Vakuumpumpen ist das untere Ende der Einlass\u00f6ffnung (<span class=\"color-primary\">A<\/span>) f\u00fcr das Vakuum etwas nach vorne verschoben. Somit besteht die M\u00f6glichkeit, die wegen des Vakuums nur teilweise mit Luft gef\u00fcllte Zelle \u00fcber einen zweiten Einlass (<span class=\"color-primary\">B<\/span>) aufzuf\u00fcllen. Um eine Beeintr\u00e4chtigung des Vakuums zu unterbinden, liegt dieser Aufladekanal etwa eine Zellenteilung von der Hauptansaugung entfernt.
